Wes got a new bed last week and he just loves it! Linzi was at a Garage Sale and called me to see if I wanted this bunk bed WITH two mattresses all for $75. I said YES and she got them to take $65 which was even better. After a coat of paint and some bleach water to clean the mattresses the bed looks great. The first night we had the bottom bunk set up (because Todd was painting the top one) and about an hour after we put him to bed we heard a loud thump and went in to find him curled up asleep on the floor. We just slid out the extra mattress from underneath and he slept the rest of the night. Now that we have the top bunk with the rails set up he can't fall off and it works out just perfect. As a side note... I did not ask him to pose for these pictures, he did it all by himself. I said "Wes I want to take a picture of your bed" and he went and stood in these two different positions for me and smiled...I was cracking up :)

wow that's a big bed!We just got Lydia in a big bed too, but she was in her crib with the rail off for about 6 months and learned how to sleep with out falling off the bed. Now when I go in at night to feed Danton I watch her sleep and can't believe she doesn't fall off the bed. She is a WILD sleeper.
He is such a little model :) These pictures crack me up knowing the story behind them. He's getting way to big!
