Happy Birthday Kelsie!Kelsie turned 17 the beginning of the month, and this is the train wreck of a cake I made her. Funfetti cake with chocolate buttercream icing and white chocolate "scribbles" on top and some sprinkles just for fun.

I think it looks fun. I could never get my icing to be smooth like that...
Freeze your cakes, then ice them. After you have it pretty smooth get your knife (or cake spatula thingy?) wet with hot water to smooth it out. The icing sort of freezes to the cake and it makes it a lot easier to get it smooth.
